Love lives in the heart

Chilling and loving me personally on Feb. 14th 2014, I remembered other Valentine’s Day when I could not even do that. I also remembered the very few time I was loved. I realized that the most intriguing thing in life is love living in our hearts. It is a privilege to explore it personally.

Just like soldiers and the barrack, Valentine comes and goes, but love remains in our hearts. Love is like the barrack which is always available to accommodate people as they comes and goes. Love never changes from what it is, but people changes their opinion, taste and direction. At first they see it as a place to be until circumstances evict them as the case may be. Still, in our hearts we will always remember they were once here. The time we spent with those who expressed love to us at one time or the other is part of our lives spent, so we should appreciate it. No wonder I put a call through to one of my few ex, and she appreciated it. Again, love remains in the heart. The decision to share is a game two can play based on common interest but begins with one.

It is easier to love a family because it is a natural privilege. But to love a stranger, one must be attracted to the personality and character. This follows by the desire to know more; by getting closer. The approach comes in different ways, but it is easier when factors like environment and common interest plays a vital role.

To be alone on a day like Valentine’s Day with no love from family and friends is a common occurrence on other festive periods. It is what seems like a bitter fact that some people do not even have a family or friends to call theirs. It is not about making friends based on the desire to have them, but to experience a mutual desire to be and remain friends. In other words; true friendship doesn’t happen every day just like true love. Not even on Valentine’s Day.
