It is generally believed that the reason why the monetary/ naira policy was amended is because of the 2023 election. One may wonder, are the masses put into consideration at all? Who will this favour at the end. Is it really a weapon used against vote buying? Hmm, the deeper thought ask, could it be a political weapon of hardship used against the masses, to make them vulnerable... For instance a man who is hungry and cashless can be desperate. A man who has old money that can't buy him or his family food to eat can be absolutely desperate. Have you thought of that? Show him the new naira Note and tell him it can be his if only he is ready to vote in your favour, it will take great discipline which alot of people lack to resist the temptation. The youths are targeted as well. Their frustration and desperation can be manipulated. Ultimately when they look at the posters, the campaigns, who do they see? Those they can proudly say that they wish to be like in terms of true and lasting legacy?
How would Nigeria decide in dilemma???
